Unilever Vietnam has supported Vietnam Women’s Union "Women Do Business Program" to advance women economic empowerment by inspiring and enabling them to follow entrepreneurial dreams with business knowledge & skills education and financial support. Since 2020, the Program has delivered training courses on women start-up, business knowledge and skills for small household businesses in rural areas such as grocery stores, eatery shops, tailor shops... in an intuitive and practical way. By 2025, the program aims to enable 1 million Vietnamese women to follow entrepreneurship thus have better income and better life, contributing towards gender equality movement in Vietnam.
Amit Verma, Olam Vietnam Limited.
Amit has been catalytic in aligning his country office’s leadership to support practises to create and strengthen an inclusive work environment. His commitment to the cause of gender equality led to him chairing the Inclusion, Diversity and Equality Council at Olam (IDEO), aimed at creating a sense of belonging amongst employees, irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, culture, age or religious belief.
With the significant growth in the Vietnam operations in the past few years, the talent pool at Olam had became homogenous and lacked diversity. Amit was able to combat this by creating a D&I agenda, with the company’s HR function, focused on the goal of integrating more women in managerial roles, in tandem to organising trainings for the same.
Julie Sandlau Vietnam
Julie Sandlau Vietnam is a high-end jewelry manufacturer founded in 2005. They have constantly strived to create a sustainable livelihood for women in the local community. They strongly believe business can play a critical role in changing attitudes, building responsible practices throughout the supply chain, and creating inclusive and safe work environments for everyone. In 2022, they have made plan and promoted gender equality and women's empowerment across their supply chain.
VPS Securities J.S.C (VPS)
VPS Securities J.S.C (VPS) is one of the leading financial institutions in Vietnam. The policy and actions plan of gender equality and women's empowerment is implemented by VPS that bring comprehensive value in both work and spiritual life for female and male employees. VPS strives to improve the capacity and management role of women specifically through the program "Future Female Leaders 4.0" including enhancing recruitment, training female staff and empowering competent female staff, especially in the financial consulting team. It has brought about positive results for the company's human resources.

The PAN Group Joint Stock Company Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra My - General Director
Operating in the agricultural field with more than 10,000 employees, the PAN Group has established a Subcommittee on Sustainable Development to promote gender equality with specific action plans, including a step-by-step roadmap to bring gender equality awareness into action while doing business and in the workplace. Ms. Nguyen has adopted workplace gender equality and non-discrimination workplace policies on recruitment, working conditions, centering emplyee well-being, training and career promotion. She has been instrumental in initiating and leading many community projects and initiatives, such as Co Son Charity Fund, a community-based programme in Yen Bai, Phu Tho and Lai Chau focused on the goal of women's economic empowerment. Ms. Tra My leads by example and provides supports and particiaptes in sustainable development and gender equality advancement activities, including actively participating in forums and conferences sharing practices on promoting gender equality in the workplace.
ALPHANAM Group Ms. Nguyen Ngoc My - Senior Executive, Vice Chairwoman of the Board, and global advocate for sustainability, social impact and gender

Ms. Nguyen Ngoc My has been actively working towards creating a more equal workspace, by challenging and changing policies to ensure fairer recruitment, employee assessment and job promotions. In additional to the policy changes, she also led mulitple awareness campaigns to highlight the benefits of workplace gender equality through a talkshow on social media and internal company groups.
Ms Ngoc My has also been actively participating in events as an advocate for workplace gender equality, including the Gender Equality Conference in 2019, where Alphanam signed the Vietnam Panel Pledge, committing to take active steps to involve more women in leadership.

Procter & Gamble Vietnam Co. Ltd
Procter & Gamble Vietnam Co. Ltd have adopted gender-responsive workplace policies to advance equality and inclusion through fair recruitment, offering support to advance women to leadership and managerial roles, implementing maternity and paternity leave policies and ensuring a work-life balance for their employees. P&G has been a early adopter of equality and inclusion policies, and has been able to replicate their diversity agenda in close to every market the organisation operates in. Recently, P&G introduced the ‘Share the Care’ policy, a new paretal leave policy in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, through which new parents will be entitles to a minimum of 8 weeks of fully paid leave, with an additional 6 weeks recovery leave for birth mothers.
Ha Nam Ninh Food Joint Stock Company
Through their project aimed at building a high tech-center for the production of high-quality seedlings and ornamental flower products, the Ha Nam Ninh Food Joint Stock Company has created jobs, increased income for local farmers including many female farmers, improved land use efficiency, and impelemented sustainability practices to maintain the local ecology. In addition, the company has put into action a separate workplace policy assuring gender-equal recruitment, regulations for workers, and incorporated a maternity policy to create a gender-equal working enviroment and retain their female labor force.
Tien Thanh Handicraft wares production Import Export Company limited
Started in 2004 with the aim to develop family economies and solve the persistant problem of unemployement, especially for elderly women, Tien Thanh Handicraft continues to constantly promote investment in employee education and skilling, with a focus on helping women develop their management skills to hold leadership positions within the company. They also frequently work with local women associations in their province to enable women to become changemakers within their communities and become leaders within their local economies through vocational and skill trainings.
Wardhaven Capital Limited - HCMC Representative Office
Wardhaven Capital Limited has implemented a few different initiatives to promote gender equality in their community engagement and partnerships including conducting a research project on ‘Gender Equality and Public Markets in Vietnam’, a study aimed at evaluating the gender balance in leadership of all listed companies in Viet Nam and the assessement of relevant trends. The Wardhaven frequently sponsors publications to monitor, track and report on corporate gender equality trends and hosts events to influence corporate leaders towards adopting gender equal work practices in Viet Nam. In addition, Wardhaven collaborated with the Australian Government’s Investing in Women initiative to author a 'CEO Brief to Promote Inclusive Leadership and Gender Equality in Vietnam'. The document was designed as a resource from executives for executives providing a practical engagement strategy and guidance for CEOs to develop a gender inclusive workplace.

Garment 10 Corporation - Joint Stock Company Mr.Than Duc Viet - General Director
With over 80% of their 10,000 employees being women, Mr Than Due Viet, General Director of Garment 10 Corporation, has adopted gender-responsive workplace policies that ensure gender-responsive recruitment and enable a discrimination, violence and harrassment free workplace. With gender equality at the centre of their vision, Mr Viet recognises the importance of creating a sustainable development roadmap to support and enhance women’s performance at work and to provide adequate training for them to be able to take up managerial opportunities.
Regina Miracle International Vietnam Company Limited
Specializing in garment manufacturing and processing with more than 10,000 employees, of which about 80% are female workers, creating a work-life balance, offering flexible working opportunities for out-of province employees, is a large part ofthe work culture Regina Miracle International wants to create. The company has been instrumental in developing internal training programs to raise awareness about gender equality for both male and female employees, contributing to eliminating gender stereotypes against in the workplace.
Ho Guom Group Joint Stock Company
With the textile and garment industry largely employing women, the Ho Guom Group Joint Stock Company places their female employees safety at the centre of their operations by ensuring that they feel safe within the working environment and in their homes through their internal policies and safety measures. These policies are continuously revisited and revised to best suit employees needs, the result of which has been a 10% increase in their female workforce and being able to retain and reduce employee turnover. They are currently working to enhance their internal policies to better respond to the fluctuations in the economy and better serve the employees work-life balance.
Intel Products Vietnam Co., Ltd
Intel's vision to grow a diverse and inclusive global supply chain includes increasing their annual spending with enterprises owned by a diverse set of suppliers, as well as working with their suppliers to expand and enable inclusive sourcing practices across the industry. One key component of their 2030 goal to increase annual spending on diverse suppliers to $2 billion globally, is focused on spending with women-owned suppliers outside of the US and minority-owned suppliers globally. Additionally, they have integrated requirements within their policies to include diverse suppliers into their supplier bidding, selection, and management processes.
Since 2014, they have been implemening a flexible workforce strategy with contingent worker joining the workplace, largely made up of women who are still underrepresented in the tech industry. They have been partnering with key suppliers on hiring, training, and integrating CWs into the factory, working closely together with their permanent employees.

Savvycom Joint Stock Company
Savvycom Joint Stock Company and its partners have successfully initiated the 'Comprehensive Support Program for Women and Girls', targeting a wide range of women and girls from different environments with different needs, including middle-aged women in Hanoi. Savvycom has committed to spend 0.25 - 0.3% of their annual revenue to facilitate activities to promote gender equality within the workplace. Through their partnership with the members of the Hanoi Association for Women Entrepreneurs and local stakeholders, Savvycom was able to assess the situation and better understand their employees needs, which in turn reflected in their mission towards building a gender equal workplace.
