हम पहली बार संयुक्त राष्ट्र महिला 2020 एशिया-प्रशांत WEPs पुरस्कारों के विजेताओं की घोषणा करने के लिए उत्साहित हैं!
लैंगिक समानता और महिला आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए खुद को प्रतिबद्ध करने वाले सभी विजेताओं को बहुत-बहुत बधाई। विभिन्न देशों, क्षेत्रों और क्षेत्रों के इन जेंडर चैंपियन को क्रमशः उनकी उत्कृष्ट नेतृत्व प्रतिबद्धता, युवा नेतृत्व, लिंग-समावेशी कार्यस्थल, लिंग-उत्तरदायी बाज़ार, समुदाय और उद्योग जुड़ाव और COVID-19 कार्रवाई के लिए स्वीकार किया जाता है।
विजेताओं
Unilever Vietnam has supported Vietnam Women’s Union "Women Do Business Program" to advance women economic empowerment by inspiring and enabling them to follow entrepreneurial dreams with business knowledge & skills education and financial support. Since 2020, the Program has delivered training courses on women start-up, business knowledge and skills for small household businesses in rural areas such as grocery stores, eatery shops, tailor shops... in an intuitive and practical way. By 2025, the program aims to enable 1 million Vietnamese women to follow entrepreneurship thus have better income and better life, contributing towards gender equality movement in Vietnam.
Amit has been catalytic in aligning his country office’s leadership to support practises to create and strengthen an inclusive work environment. His commitment to the cause of gender equality led to him chairing the Inclusion, Diversity and Equality Council at Olam (IDEO), aimed at creating a sense of belonging amongst employees, irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, culture, age or religious belief.
With the significant growth in the Vietnam operations in the past few years, the talent pool at Olam had became homogenous and lacked diversity. Amit was able to combat this by creating a D&I agenda, with the company’s HR function, focused on the goal of integrating more women in managerial roles, in tandem to organising trainings for the same.
Julie Sandlau Vietnam is a high-end jewelry manufacturer founded in 2005. They have constantly strived to create a sustainable livelihood for women in the local community. They strongly believe business can play a critical role in changing attitudes, building responsible practices throughout the supply chain, and creating inclusive and safe work environments for everyone. In 2022, they have made plan and promoted gender equality and women's empowerment across their supply chain.
VPS Securities J.S.C (VPS) is one of the leading financial institutions in Vietnam. The policy and actions plan of gender equality and women's empowerment is implemented by VPS that bring comprehensive value in both work and spiritual life for female and male employees. VPS strives to improve the capacity and management role of women specifically through the program "Future Female Leaders 4.0" including enhancing recruitment, training female staff and empowering competent female staff, especially in the financial consulting team. It has brought about positive results for the company's human resources.

Ms Ngoc My has also been actively participating in events as an advocate for workplace gender equality, including the Gender Equality Conference in 2019, where Alphanam signed the Vietnam Panel Pledge, committing to take active steps to involve more women in leadership.
2nd Runners Up
Since 2014, they have been implemening a flexible workforce strategy with contingent worker joining the workplace, largely made up of women who are still underrepresented in the tech industry. They have been partnering with key suppliers on hiring, training, and integrating CWs into the factory, working closely together with their permanent employees.
